I was reminded again recently about the importance of
gratitude. As I read Elder Bednars most recent Conference address on Prayer he mentions the importance of gratitude. And so I began thinking about the many reasons why it is so important to express our thanks so often. I must admit I am not as good as I should be in this area. But I do have so much to be grateful for and as the
Thanksgiving holiday is upon us I think it would be very appropriate to share some of those things.
1) For my Father in
heaven who loves me and walks with me daily.
2) For a wonderful life.(The whole thing, I've had many
great experiences in my Life.)
3)For my
Husband. He is amazing and I don't always tell him. He works so hard so I can stay home and enjoy the company of my beautiful babes. he's a great daddy. I love him to pieces!
4) For my 3 Baby girls Beans, bugs and Dace. They are my life. I know that they have come into my life to strengthen me and to let me experience
Joy in the Fullest. I love them so stinken much that I can barley even begin to express it.
5) For my Mom and my Dad. The two people who have always loved me and always given everything they knew how to so that I could be
happy. They are amazing parents.
6) For my Friends. I love them so much and if your reading this wondering if I'm talking about you.... I probably am! Throughout my life I have had some amazing people who have stood by me and made me who I am today and I love them a ton . I am also in a very different time of life now that some may say
friends aren't as important but I have found out that that isn't the case for me. I am surrounded by good friends who lift me and help me to be better in every area of my life. I know that life would just not be as
bright without them.
I have much more that I am grateful for but these are my main things. I hope that you all have a happy Thanksgiving and that you'll be able to have some time to reflect on your
blessings.
