The 4th of July is always one of my Favorite Holidays. We love Parades!! The girls especially love running around picking up the candy.

My Brother Was in the Parade this year with his Motorcycle. It's always exciting to see him come by. I am way proud of him!

After my brother went by he later came back and stopped to see his kids! I loved this 3 generation picture of My Dad, My Brother and my Nephew. My Dad is also a Highway Patrolman.

It has been traditoin for us to go to Stadium of Fire. We have done it for the last 4 years.
I am so grateful to live in a country where we have so many freedoms.
God Bless the USA!!
Later on in July we went camping with My Family. Dave Caught so many fish, the girls were so excited to see the fish. They even helped reel in a few.

Buck Fever

I am so glad that Levi and Dave could hunt together this year. In the past Dave has braved the Mountain all by himself......I felt so much better knowing he had someone with him. Levi and Dave were both able to get a Deer this year. Good Job Guys! Don't they looked exhausted?
So I messed up with the Pictures. This post is a little Backwards and jumbled up! I'm sure you get the jest of it though. This is where we found Dave after his long Hike down the Mountain with a deer on his Back, He was so exhausted and out of water. We were so glad to see him!!

This is a picture taken from Daves Phone just before heading down the Mountain.
I can't believe He packed that deer out all By him self. We are proud of you Dave and wish you good luck on the Elk Hunt!

This big guy is the deer that Dave got this year! He and a buddy of his had archery tags. This is the biggest buck that Dave has ever brought Home. Congratulations Dave! All the Hard work payed off.

Makeing Perfect Scents

I know, I know I am a horrible blogger! Well I just wanted to let you all know my latest excitement......I am now selling scentsy! Some of you may be asking what is scentsy? Well it's a wickless candle that you melt in a warmer. The wax is food based and never gets warm enough to burn you. The other thing I like about the wax is that it doesn't dissolve into the atmosphere. And.... they have over 80 different fragrances. I love Scentsy!!
I have been invited to several of these scentsy parties but I always had something going on anyway last September a girl in my Neighborhood invited me to a party so I thought I'd go. I get there and for starters The smell embraced me from the moment I walked in. Then the scentsy lady stands up and gives a 15 min spill about the history, safety, quality and cost of this product and then she gives us this paper for a free drawing and has I write our favorite scents on the paper and so the ladies in the room start passing around these 80 different scents and smelling them. This is the second part of where I fell in love with scentsy........as those scents went around the room everyone started talking about what each scent reminded them of. It was so fun to bring back those memories and make new friends. Needless to say I have hosted 2 of my own scentsy get togethers and have finally decided to sale it. Anyway I love it and I want to have a lot of parties.I am excited to get a jump start with scentsy so right now I am going to offer any of you out there or any of your friends a free plug in warmer of your choice......All you have to do is host a party for me and invite some friends over to check out scentsy. It will be super fun! Plus scentsy will also give you half off items and free product for orders placed at your party. If you would like more info go to http://www.scentsy.com/racheleggett
and let me know if you'd like to help me out by hosting a party. How can you pass up free stuff? It doesn't matter where you live either. Okay I hope to hear from some of you soon. THESE PARTIES ARE SUPER FUN!!

More Christmas

I love Christmas. This year was extra fun because the girls were so excited. I have found that most things have taken on more meaning to me as I get to experience them through the eyes of my children. We had a super fun Christmas.
On Christmas morning the girls slept in until about 8:30 and then we heard them stirring. We could hear Breanne shouting " Madi he came, Santa came." the next thing I heard were little feet running through the house to our room. and then the fun began. Breanne started jumping up and down " He came, he came, Wahoo, he came ." I couldn't believe How excited she was.
Breanne and Madison wanted Baby Dolls and strollers. They loved their gifts.

Dave and his trusty knife. I don't know how we would ever open any gifts with out it!!

Even our little Jaycee loved opening gifts. She figured out her own method as you can see.

Good Times! and Great Memories!

Christmas, Christmas Christmas!!!!

While I'm Blogging I might as well Share with you some of our christmas fun!!
These wonderful pics started out as a fun Idea. We love getting christmas cards from everyone and seeing their cute families. We thought that it would be great to send out our christmas cards also. That's what these pictures were for. Well lets just say this is the first time these pics have made it past the file I stuck them in. Maybe next year we'll do better.

The need to craft

Do you ever just feel the need to be crafty? Some times I do.... actually that happens a lot but there is a problem I don't have the slightest idea what to make. Any way my crafting/Tutu craze started in October after I had seen a tutu that my friend heather had made. This craze consumed me through December. I decided to make Tutus for my girls and niece not to mention I decided to learn how to make fairy wings. After the tutu experience I went on to Aprons and Hair bows. And then I decided I could cater and decorate for my sisters wedding in January (That's a whole new blog in and of it's self). Need less to say I think I have filled my need to craft at least for the time being. I must say though I love people who have the creative juices flowing from every thought. I often wish and want for that talent and ability........hey you never know.

A new Addition

Some of you may think I am falling behind in the blogging area......Well I am!! But with good reason I feel like so much has been happening in our little Family not to mention the holidays. For starters we added a new family member. In November we got a puppy. Puppies are lots of work. We love him though. His name is Rowdy and he is a German short hair Pointer.
The girls adore him and as you can see he loves them. He has been good for our Family.
at the beginning of December however he jumped out of Dave's truck and broke his leg. We weren't sure if it was going to be fixable but with a little surgery, a nice size vet bill, and some prayers he's doing well.

Toughts of Gratitude

I was reminded again recently about the importance of gratitude. As I read Elder Bednars most recent Conference address on Prayer he mentions the importance of gratitude. And so I began thinking about the many reasons why it is so important to express our thanks so often. I must admit I am not as good as I should be in this area. But I do have so much to be grateful for and as the Thanksgiving holiday is upon us I think it would be very appropriate to share some of those things.
1) For my Father in heaven who loves me and walks with me daily.
2) For a wonderful life.(The whole thing, I've had many great experiences in my Life.)
3)For my Husband. He is amazing and I don't always tell him. He works so hard so I can stay home and enjoy the company of my beautiful babes. he's a great daddy. I love him to pieces!
4) For my 3 Baby girls Beans, bugs and Dace. They are my life. I know that they have come into my life to strengthen me and to let me experience Joy in the Fullest. I love them so stinken much that I can barley even begin to express it.
5) For my Mom and my Dad. The two people who have always loved me and always given everything they knew how to so that I could be happy. They are amazing parents.
6) For my Friends. I love them so much and if your reading this wondering if I'm talking about you.... I probably am! Throughout my life I have had some amazing people who have stood by me and made me who I am today and I love them a ton . I am also in a very different time of life now that some may say friends aren't as important but I have found out that that isn't the case for me. I am surrounded by good friends who lift me and help me to be better in every area of my life. I know that life would just not be as bright without them.

I have much more that I am grateful for but these are my main things. I hope that you all have a happy Thanksgiving and that you'll be able to have some time to reflect on your blessings.

Quirks

I 've been tagged again. Thanks Jamie. I am haveing a hard time thinking of any quirks, that must mean I have a lot. Well let me see if i can get the brain working!!!

Rules; 1 Link the person who tagged you. 2 Mention the rules on your blog. 3 Tell about 6 unspectacular quirks of yours. 4 Tag 6 other bloggers by linking them.

1. I like to run but before I go out running I have this routine of having to blow my nose, go pee, and I can't have gum in my mouth or lotion on my hands.

2. I don't wash my levis after only wearing them once. I have to get a few wears out of them before washing them. I also like to Iron my levis. (I thought everyone did this!)

3. I hang dry almost all of my clothes. Mostly because I have had so many bad experiences with my clothes shrinking and when you are tall shrinking clothes is never a good thing. It also helps them last longer. BTW I do machine dry socks and under clothes.

4. When I go to sleep at night I have to have all my covers tightly around me almost tucked under me. Dave calls it a cacoon. And I always have to have a cover even if it's hot I use just a sheet.

5.I never walk around my house bare footed. I am not really sure why but I like to have something on my feet weather it's socks, slippers, flipflops.....

6. I can hardly ever watch a basketball game even a professional one without being critical. I always voice my opinion an what's happening and what should be happening. I don't mean to do it. But I catch myself doing it alot. I'm sure it drives Dave crazy.(Sorry hun)

That wasn't so bad. I tag these 6 people, Liz, Andrea, Brianne, Heather, Loni, and Aimee Ellis
Have fun!!!!
