This has been a first for us all!! We decided it was time to take the training wheels off of Beans Bike. She was a bit nervous but determined to give it a try. She had practically worn the training wheels to the ground. I would like to say she picked it up pretty quickly but reality is we have been practicing and practicing. I am proud of her for not giving up.
Her cute little helmet head! She's ready to give it a shot.
Dave was so good to give her a few motivating pep talks. You can see how hard she's concentrating.

One of her many spills. It's so hard watching them fall but knowing they need to get back up and do it. She was very nervous.
After lots of practice she came outside one day and got on that bike and I could see she had finally gotten it. She took off down the street. Dave came running outside asking what was going on? He asked me when she had figured it out. I told him just now. She rode down the street yelling "I'm doing it!" What a proud parent moment that was for me.
Now she wants to ride everywhere.

I love it - that's so exciting. Good for her for sticking with it even when it was hard. Looks like you guys are having a fun summer - hope you're all doing well.
There is nothing better then watching them take off all by themselves on their bikes. Way to go Bre! You are becoming such a big girl!!!
Very awesome. It is so neat to see your kids succeed. I love it when you can see that they feel so proud of themselves.
